Polarimetry refers to the measurement and analysis of the polarisation of light from celestial objects, providing insights into the physical properties and processes within those objects and their surrounding environments. Polarisation is when light waves travel in a specific pattern, like neat rows, instead of moving in all directions, and it can tell us about the things the light has interacted with.
