The Observatoire du Mont-Mégantic offers a range of advanced instruments for astronomical research, both on site installed on its 1.6-metre telescope (shown here pointed at zenith) and conceived in its Experimental Astrophysics Laboratory. These instruments enable researchers to explore celestial phenomena with precision and depth, contributing to our understanding of the cosmos.

On clear nights, observing technicians and astronomers open the dome doors to allow the telescope to collect light from space. This light is processed by a variety of instruments at the observatory. Credit: Robert Newton
